- What is your reservation policy? The minimum deposit is $600.00 per week
for each week reserved and must be received within 7 days of making the reservation.
You are responsible for the entire period you have reserved. Balance due upon arrival.
Your deposit is refundable if a replacement is secured for the entire period you have reserved.
- What is your cancellation policy? If you decide to cancel, we will do everything we can
to rent the cabin for the period you have reserved, but if we are unable to do so, you are still
responsible for your balance due, and your deposit is not refundable. If we are able to rent the cabin
for the entire period you have reserved, you will get your deposit back minus a $100 cancellation charge.
- What do I need to bring when renting a cabin? The items we do not supply that you will need to bring
are bath towels, washcloths, dish towels and dish soap. We supply all bedding, kitchenware, silverware,
untensils, hand mixer, pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker and filters, microwave, toaster, and charcoal grill.
- Do you have internet access? Yes! We have wireless internet available for free that you can access
in the lodge or in your cabin. We also offer Dish Network television channels in all cabins and the lodge.
- Do you have camping sites? Yes! We offer both seasonal camping sites along with daily rental sites.
- Can you tell me more about Lake Shamineau? Lake Shamineau is an extremely clean lake with excellent water
clarity. The lake area is 1,626 acres with a maximum depth of 52 feet and an average depth of 17 feet. The
shoreline circumference is 11.31 miles and the lake length is 3.13 miles. The lake supports a diverse fish
population and offers many angling opportunities. The resort has a beautiful beach, with a shallow, sandy swimming
area and is a great swimming lake offering clean and clear waters. The resort overlooks the north shore of
Lake Shamineau where Camp Shamineau owns about a mile of lakeshore. This offers guests a great view of the lake,
with a scenic, undeveloped shoreline in the background! We hope you come see for youself the true beauty of
Lake Shamineau!

- Do you accept credit cards? Sorry, but at this time, we only accept cash or personal checks for payment.
- Are pets allowed? For cabin rentals we do not allow pets. For camping, we do allow pets, but do not
allow them in the lakefront beach area, and require that your pet is leashed and not left unattended.
- What time can we check-in? When do we need to check-out by? From Memorial Day to Labor Day our
weeks for cabin rentals go from Saturday to Saturday. The check-out time is 9:00am and the check-in time is
3:00pm. The check-in and check-out times can be negotiable if there isn't guests checking out of your cabin
on the day you arrive or if there isn't guests checking into your cabin on the day you depart. Please talk
with us to see if a different check-in or check-out time can be arranged.
- Do you charge for extra guests? Yes. Extra guests (ages 2 and over) over what the cabin is
furnished for are charged $20/night. For example, cabin number 5, our 2 bedroom deluxe, is priced for
6 people. If you have 8 people in that cabin, you would be charged for 2 extra guests, which would cost
an additional $40/night (2 extra guests at $20/night for each guest).

- What do you offer in your lodge? Our new air-conditioned northwoods lodge offers a game and video
arcade room, gift shop, pool table, bait and tackle, pop, candy counter, beer, pizza, chips, ice cream,
groceries and other necessity items, bar seating area with TV and gas and oil with lakeside fill service!
- Do you have a boat launch? What about dock space? Yes, we have a private boat launch, and each cabin
has dock space available.
- Does a boat come with the cabin? Each cabin rental comes with a 14' aluminum boat. We do offer
motor rental too if needed. We also have a 20' and 18' Weeres pontoon available for rent.
- What is your visitor policy? We want your hard earned vacation to be a memorable one. In order to
assure that our guests enjoy this special atmosphere, we find it necessary to have a strict visitor policy.
Visitors are persons visiting registered guests--whether it's to stop and say hello or staying overnight.
Visitors must register upon arrival. You will be responsible for all visitor charges. We reserve the right
to limit the number of visitors. If you have any questions, please ask to avoid misunderstandings. Visitor
charges are $15 per person per day (including children), and $20 for overnight guests.
